I don’t think so unless for whatever reason Jiricek/Sillinger/Johnson were available

Anything is possible if you're willing to trade a RHD on the rise!

Without a 1st coming back you'd have to give Vancouver a very good prospect. A player you'd hate to trade.

????? Wow a massive overpay by CBJ. Save your young assets and go fishing in the UFA market. Not including the first six weeks of this season, do you really think Bo is worth 8.2m X 7?

Ceulmans fits that ask IMO especially Valuble as a RHD

As a Canucks fan this is tempting and while I don't think I'd agree, it's close, which I think would make it fair due to bias.

Probably would have to be a guy who is ready to try making the jump to the NHL, idk if Ceulmans is or not but if he isn't probably requires the 1st.

Bo isnt worth that valuble of and asset he's a 2C On most contender. A very solid 2C but you just name two top 5 picks

I'm not expecting Columbus to give up either of them but if you want Horvat without giving up a 1st that's the only way.

Would rather not trade for horvat for that price. Wait to see if he becomes a ufa. If the jackets get a top 5 pick whatever center they draft will have a good shot of becoming a 1C at least on the jackets

A Regular First is different than Jiricek and kent Johnson. Bo Horvat seems very likely to be Traded Imo, I think their is a High chance of him just walking to the Highest Bidder in FA. Canucks have underperformed been a rough 2 years.

A late first and decent prospect is much different than a top 5 overall and top 5 defensive prospect in the NHL. The only players on your roster that get either is EP and Hughes and the jackets don’t need Hughes as they already have Werenski. You are going to be disappointed with the return for horvat if that’s what your expectations are

There has to be a prospect good enough to replace the 2023 first round pick. It can't just be a good prospect. It has to be a TOP prospect

Are you even reading? Nobody expects to get Jiricek or Johnson. The point is getting Horvat without a first round pick going the other way is very very unlikely
