Rangers say no. They already have 2 better LHD than Sandin, and RW is the weakest spot on the roster

For Kakko, you're looking at Knies not Sandin. Miller and Lindgren are both better than Sandin. NYR need RW help. Moving Kakko (who has started to play well) is going to cost a LOT more than a 3rd pairing defenseman

Sandin is already better than Garikov and Kakko doesnt move the needle to downgrade to an older soon to be much more expensive and not as good defender

Sandin has been in the top 4 on a top 5 defensive team this year. Far better than Crappo Krakko who needs to be spoon-feed opportunities just to look better than a replacement level player
