No it isn’t. It’s a product of him playing through an injury and shooting 5%. Guys like Max Domi and Taylor Raddish are putting up numbers there. Timo Meier, Bo Horvat, Clayton Keller, Nick Suzuki, J. gaudreau, Laine, Troy Terry put up big numbers on bad teams. It’s not the team.

Any trade for Kane does not work because he is the exact opposite of what they need, has nothing to do with a number.

Kane is not worth half that and a terrible fit.

That’s fair. Likely haven’t been watching debrusk much the last year. He’s been ripping it up. If horvat is just at his career shooting percentage, debrusk is out scoring him this season.

Debrusk isn’t having a shooting % outlier. Might be up a fraction, accounting for a goal, but nothing major. Debrusk basically forgot how to play hockey during hte pandemic. Prior to it, he was really good, after it, he was really good. During it, he was a fourth line scrub begging for a trade. He was the same player for calendar 2022, this doesn’t seem like an outlier.
