How is Kane a loser?

Wanted to be Belle of the Ball. Turned into third wheel.... someone's "plus one" that wasn't supposed to attend.

The next draft/offseason/deadline might also be veeeery interesting. Here's Top10 guys that might be on the move.

1. Erik Karlsson - the season he's had will have number of teams interested, Dude's Norris bound in a bottom-5 team. Plus knowing Grier, the price for him WILL be affordable. Maybe a third round pick. Lol

2. Juuse Saros - if NSH truly is going to the deep end...trading Saros might come to question. He has only two years left after this one, and if Trotz want the highest possible price for him, trading sooner rather than later is probably his best option.

3/4/5. Timo Meier/Alex DeBrincat/Pierre-Luc Dubois - the biggest question marks of the forthcoming RFA market, Ima just give them the equal position. Very few know what will happen with these guys in the end.

6. Elias Pettersson - next year is the final year of his contract, and he might just request a trade if VAN keeps struggling. He's already come out once and said he wants to play in a winning team, and at least currently Vancouver is pretty far from that.

7. Sam Reinhart - under the final year of his contract, and rumors suggest FLA is considering moving him. Presumably to either add a D-man, or recoup some of the lost assets in terms of draft picks.

8/9. Brock Boeser / J.T. Miller - just what VAN will do with these two...there just doesn't seem to be much of a fit for them in there, and I don't know about the future plans of this team. The two of them have big ass contracts, so moving them is bound to be difficult.

10. Auston Matthews - bit of a long shot, but he's starting the final year of his contract next year, and his next deal is bound to be f*cking HUGE. Does Leafs have the capacity to offer him what he wants, and what do they have to let go in order to make it happen. Furthermore, is Matthews willing to stay, especially if they, once again, lose in the first round against Tampa?

I dont really agree. The return was low cause he only wanted to go to NYR, not because there wasnt much interest - then he got to go where he wanted. Thats a win from his perspective

My friend and I having a bet on Matthews next contract

Winner gets bragging rights

I said 14.34mill x 8 years 95mill SB

He thinks 16mill x 8 years 100mill SB

Though I did also say if hes not extended by Summer biggest NHL trade in history

Thanks for the good times. Hope y’all enjoy the playoffs.

A final guess:

Stanley cup finals after today

Toronto

Edmonton

Bettman wont allow an All Canadian Finals to happen lets be honest love the enthusiasm but watch hes gonna sabotage a call somewhere

Lol, Bettman can't switch which teams make the final, will there be 2 canadian teams in the finals this year, probably not but it certainly won't be because Bettman rigged it

Have you seen the past 2 weeks, we've had more trades pre-TDL than ever, sure today was calm but that pre-TDL makes it all worth it

Looking forward to next year's 24/7/14 Trade center supershow.
Gather all the talking heads 2 weeks before the deadline, lock them in the broadcast center.
Every day they break a trade, they get $10,000.
Everyone who doesn't break a trade that day is up for elimination.
Every day has an immunity challenge based on an all star event.
Whoever is left, and breaks the biggest trade up to the deadline (through audience voting), wins all the money and doesn't have to participate next year.

Kane: Hi
NYR: Oh, Hi.
Kane: Will you invite me to the dance?
NYR: No thanks, I'm bringing Tank
Kane: Oh, no...you're the only one I'll go to dance with
NYR: Sorry, I have a date
NYR's father: You must bring Kane to the dance
NYR: (sigh) OK, Patty, you can come to the dance with Tank and me.
Kane: Yea!

Is this a tripping call, I personally think this is the most obvious penalty of all time

NYR getting Tarasenko too isn't a bad thing for Kane, if anything that makes it even more of a win for him cause it increases his chances of winning. Its not like Tarasenko is taking Kane's spot either - Kane is playing with Panarin and Trocheck. There were 2 top 6 RW spots and NYR filled both of them

Kane got everything he wanted, there's no way he's a loser of the deadline

I feel like if Vancouver restructures a couple of things they could make some noise next year. Hope they get bedard and then build a defense
