next year, 750K contracts are no longer, they have to be minimum 775K

Caps pass. They don't have a need for either of those players. They'll take Ehlers off your hands though.

Jets probably need to take a roster player(cap) back
Detroit doesn’t need Pionk. Maybe to Vancouver for Garland
Don’t trade for Bennett, keep that pick.
I don’t mind the Washington trade

Pretty sure habs would like to keep Beck, prob add Riley and another prospect or another pick. Beck would be the habs 3C eventually.

RW do need RHD, but not at that price point.

Pretty self explanatory you have to sign them to at least league minimum (which starting next year is 775k)

Depends on where that Islanders pick lands. I'd be open to taking pionk in some kind of deal.

Would be pretty disappointing to get Pionk with that first after trading Hronek for it who is better and younger. Rather just roll the dice with the pick.

unless you aren't putting enough zeros I have no idea why it would do that. Maybe try logging out then back in?

Same here, Or Reinbacher if he falls that low. Which is extremely doubtful.

Any cap Detroit would need/like to move to balance out or a prospect/player the Jets would need to add?

PLD career high is 61 pts. He has 6 pts in his last 17 games.
Stop treating him like a superstar

He’s leaving for nothing!!
Habs have no reason to give up anything except as a token of good faith.

There are no contenders that buy PLD as a rental with a top15 pick.
You aren’t getting a top15 pick unless Hughes shows pittance

Think of getting assets the Jets need and the Habs have excess otherwise this is laughable.
Habs wait a year and lose zero assets

The only thing holding this offer back from pure lunacy is the fact that PLD is French and Molson maybe wants another Drouin.

Btw Pld’s big moment vs the Leafs with a hat trick was after being benched by Torts. Drouin had the same history in Tampa with 17 playoff points in 2016 playoff run.

Jets here are taking zero risk while the Habs take all the risk on pld.
That’s not how leverage works

Nope, Detroit's not doing that... we might as well have just kept Hronek if we were just going to throw away a first for an older replacement...

Yes. Because this offer won’t come close to reality. Keep them coming tho. They are hilarious.

I mean for that mid-1st this year you'd definitely be looking at adding a middle table prospect along with Pionk, but that's something the Red Wings have a lot of (middle 6/bottom 9 players).

I think if a trade with the NYI's '23 and Pionk, it'd look like a switch of prospects. I think of Johansson as the oddman out in the prospect situation for the Red Wings, but not sure on your 2LD situation. If you're not cramped with LHD's maybe
NYI '23 + Albert Johansson for Pionk + Lambert.
Would personally throw in like a 3rd on Detroit's end and switch Lambert for McGroarty, but not sure how willing Winnipeg would be.

Same with the DV/Army/Hoff strait up to Winnipeg offers we keep seeing from Habs fans. Just as delusional, but hey, keep it up!

Ideally ,sure
Him and Kapananen are both essentially equal odds of making it.
Thats not factoring in Mysak , Kidney and Davidson all project there too.
Mesar and Farrell spent the last few years at Center or splitting the duties in Farrell's case.
They could easily combine with Slafkovsky to recreate basically what Farrell has in Farrell-Coronato-Lafarriere (top 3 NCAA line )

My point is losing an overachiever we didnt really plan for isnt the end of the world .
I mean i want him as Ambidextrous Centers at his skill level are like 2-3 a decade .
We're talking Yannic Perrault, Guy Carbonneau , Antoine Vermette , Ryan Oreilly and a maybe a few others that take faceoffs at over 50% with both hands.
But that said he's two year too early and our only option really is AHL if we want to develop him at Center atleast until TDL at the earliest
