TJ Brodie just played 32 mins tonight for the Leafs. Which was their top minute getter. He was leading the entire team in ice time before this game by over 2 minutes a game. He has been lights out all year.

TJ Brodie is not a cap dump. Teams would run through buildings to trade for him.

these are all so bad for the leafs, like the only one close to market value is the wilson one but the leafs downgrade so badly from nylander to him it's not worth it.
And any gm who pays gavrikov 5 milion, especially after they dump brodie who is much better for nothing should be fired on the spot

These are all bad one way or another. The Blues don't even dignify that offer with a response, meanwhile Detroit gets a nice gift.

Blues need to improve their defense. Not trade their best defensive defensemen for another winger. We already have Buch, Kyrou, Saad, Vrana, Kapanen on the wings so we are good next year. Unless we are shipping Nylander to another team for a defensemen it doesn't make much sense for the blues to target him.

I think the Nylander trade is fair.

Who are we trading then? Kyrou isn't going anywhere. We have to resign buchnevich in 2 years. If we trade for Nylander that is potentially 3 wingers at 8 mil plus salaries. Saad isn't going to bring back a top 4 defensemen. The blues are better served keeping parayko and trading some of their firsts for defensemen or trading parayko for a younger defensemen. It doesn't make sense for us to target Nylander when we are deep on the wings and our best prospects are wingers.

once again caps aren't moving wilson in the offseason (and even probably at the deadline) unless they get a massive overpay. this is not a massive overpay

Brodie trade is terrible. He is our most important D member.

Liljegren should be in our top 4 right now, Veleno is hanging on by the skin of his teeth and his 1st round draft pick status.

Don't care what Blues fans think, Paraykos contract is going to age terribly. He already isn't worth it. They can keep that anchor of a contract.

Wilson trade is probably okay value wise if a team really needs a Wilson type player. But i don't think we should trade Nylander so no room for him in the top 6. Wouldn't want to give up the draft picks for him either with how many picks we've traded away recently.
