As a Caps fan I'd probably do it. I love Mantha and think he'll bounce back big time but it's hard to say no to Michkov, Carlsson or Smith.

You have the picks going the wrong way in the pens trade. The pens absolutely don’t want your longterm cap dump.
But serious question: Anderson and Mantha had almost the same stats last year and almost the same cap hits. The only difference is Anderson is a longer term contract and that Anderson hasn’t had a season of at least .5 ppg in 5 years whereas Mantha has only had 1 year of under .5ppg. So why is Anderson getting a huge return but Mantha is a cap dump?
