Feel like Kane is on the list just because of his reputation. There are about 15 guys I'd put on the list before him.


RNH is a complimentary player (though a very good complimentary player), I wouldn't trust him to carry his own top line, Nuge was 68th in Even Strength points per/60 (at least 20 games played)

Not trying to be edgy, but I feel Buchnevich is better than every skater on the list you just made. The nhls list makes me ugh.

RIP Rodion Amirov. From what I’ve heard was a Christian so he’s in heaven now. Nonetheless it’s still very sad to see someone die that young.

really bummed out over amirov passing. it sounded like he was doing well a couple of weeks ago. awful to have a disease that can take you so suddenly.

When Amirov was first drafted not gonna lie was like huh

I had Schneider on my bucket list

But the more I watched the scouting reports and through that WJC tourney where he did the Matthews good goal celebration I wanted to see this kid make it and play in the NHL next to AM and MM

Than Cancer struck but through it all I hoped he would pull through and initially it looked that way but then it relapsed and thats when the signs were there we may lose him to soon.

Haters gonna use this as fuel going "ShOuLd HaVe PiCkEd Mercer or this guy or that guy" nobody could have predicted this outcome. In the end despite this outcome he was a good pick

Hopefully he is having fun in the big rink above the clouds

Probs wont happen but honestly I would honour him by retiring the #72 jersey while he never played it would be a proper farewell to him

Expect Sam Gagner to be in Edmonton on a PTO AND expect him to be in Edmonton beyond this year in some other capacity. His role on ice might be limited this year, but he'll be a part of this Oilers franchise moving forward.
