I'll be honest 18G and 45Pts is a lot more than I thought Dube had last year, but I still don't think that hawks give up a 2nd for him.

If the Canucks are in a good spot at the deadline I could see them doing that

Columbus would want someone taken out of the deal or the 1st changed to another pick further down the draft (3rd or later).

Philly doesn't need Vladar.

Take out Marchenko. Willing to negotiate from a base of Sillinger and a first, though.

It isn't the Hawks own 2nd it's Vancouver's which isn't going to be an early one.

Can't imagine the Hawks would have any interest in Dube if the cost is a 2nd. Seems exactly like the type of player who gets overpaid for one year in arbitration before becoming a UFA.

I wouldn’t. We can always sign him in FA. IMO, going after a guy like Boqvist, Fabbro, TVR or Carrier would be the best move. We need younger players or a guy with term.

Hawks simply aren't in a position to be trading picks yet.

There is no reason for CHI to pay a 2nd round pick for an arbitration eligible pending RFA. Unless of course they really believe in Dube and think he could be a long term part of the team. But they aren't even thinking about adding those kinds of players from outside, yet.
