Man, Reichel would be nice. Calgary’s first + Engstrom + 2024 late first (that we get for Monahan) + Dvorak (contract purpose)

I agree. He was my guy before Guhle in 2020.

My guy was Mercer and I’m still a bit mad. We would in such a better place if we had him instead of Guhle

At the time I was pissed we took Guhle. Can't complain now, he will be so important for this team in the future, but a forward would have been nice.

As a Hawks fan, it's been perplexing. He's still so fast and so skilled. I'm not sure how Luke Richardson is approaching him/his development. Reichel just makes mental mistakes quite often. Careless with his passes or maybe it's just not respecting the opposition enough, BUT at the same time he needs to drive the net harder and has to be WANTING to get hit. Not just willing, but he needs to go get beat up a bit and just find out whether he can play that style. You don't want to get your jaw broken...obviously...but the game is still the center of the ice. You can't stay on the perfifferie. I wish him SOO much success and I'm a Hawks fan...so why wouldn't I? He needs a good offseason with Bedard. He needs to bulk up a bit. He needs to find his aggressive nature again.

Reichel is having a frustrating year but I don't think the hawks are anywhere close to giving up on him just yet

I'm confused. Why does Neighbours need a change of scenery?

Is the proposal above enough for him? I’m convinced St-Louis can turn him around

I think Zegras and Lundell are two more players that fit this criteria.

I would not trade him away. He's a rookie. The team in general is not only awful, but extremely injured. Can't help to have new linemates just about every game.

Yeah, that’s what I though. Hopefully he bounce back, would be a great thing for German hockey!!!

Not saying that Drury won’t get moved, but in what way would he benefit from a change in scenery? He is currently playing the best hockey he has ever played, and whilst he already was good defensively, he finally has found the offense at the NHL level.

Most of them are not available or interesting, The important point is that teams would want to move on instead of giving them a pay raise.

That said, gimme Texier, Holloway, Kakko and maybe Podkolzin. (Big wingers for the love of GOD).

Maybe Mcleod, Mittelstadt(25) and Dellandrea could be available too.

Out of everyone mentioned in this thread. The only guy I’m even vaguely intrigued enough to dump multiple 1sts is Lundell. Already a gamer after last years playoffs. Very high compete and defensive acumen.
Not drafting Zach Benson was a mistake that they need to correct. Lundell would fix that!

Seriously? You’re upset Montreal picked Guhle with the 16th pick? I’d still take him over Mercer or Reichel any day of the week and twice on Sundays.

You know what guys I’m not against adding some offense especially if it’s by trading some of the logjam at LHD but to start next season we’ll have a healthy Newhook, a hopefully healthy Dach and Roy looks like the real deal. I could see them filling out our top 6.

Maybe. He may get to 30pts while averaging almost 15min per game.
IMO, he's closer to a deception than to a surprise.

tears of joy

Okay, man. Thanks for your stat page only take. His game is rounding out quite nicely, actually. He now looks more like a top 6er than a middle 6er.

I also am happy they got Guhle instead cool

We all have our favourites. I liked the Reinbacher pick but my guy throughout was Benson. Nothing against Reinbacher with his injury issues this season.

Mercer is a first line forward, exactly the guy we need. Guhle is only one of our 10 000 LD

Sure Drury had a weak start, but you can’t just use the stat page for everything. Cause if you actually had been watching him play, you very clearly see that neither of those choice are applicable to Drury.

Berggren is probably going to be put on waivers next year. He could be the next Tolvanen for sure
