    Hawks decline. 6 years of Engvall with trade protection cost soooo much more than that to dump.

    All teams decline. If Winnipeg is really frustrated with Ehlers maybe, but I have a feeling that even if they did trade him a different team would outbid NYI. As for other teams none of them make any sense

    Nothing even slightly interesting for Ehlers. You'd need to come up with a top 4 RHD that you're willing to part with.

    The Isles don't have any reason to move Engvall. For what he provides, he comes at a pretty good price. If you expect a ton of surplus value out of him, your expectations are way too high. That said, I don't see CHI letting the Isles off that easy in a cap relief scenario with that much term left. If they want to move on from that contract they just signed him to, they are gonna pay for it.
