Yesterday the Calgary Flames signed 2 players.
I too will be signing these players, matching their real life contracts and placing them in AHL Stockton.

I think you'll have to wait for the last day of free agency, as Calgary never owned their rights. They were simply international free agents, like Kovalchuk.

Any player who was a undrafted UFA, and signed with an NHL team after May 20th in real life will be treated as a UFA in the game. So for example, Antti Suomela who signed with San Jose about two weeks ago would not be owned by the sharks in game, but would go to the UFA pool.

For those who haven’t yet heard, i will be stepping down as CBJ GM effective immediately and assuming only a part time assistant role. @WerenskiWarrior will be taking over the GM role and his Twitter is the same as his CF handle. In addition to stepping down from the GM role I’ll be stepping down from the BOG as well. The new positionholder will be determined by the rest of the group. I want to thank everyone for all the fun and good memories here. It’s not the final end, and eventually i may be back, but there’s no guarantees in life. I just have some very busy times ahead and unfortunately am unable to fulfill my commitment and time to the game for the time being. There’s too many great people to thank for all the memories here to name, but i sincerely appreciate all of the moments, quotes and memories from you guys. Thank you ❤️❤️❤️

Farewell old friend. Stretching back to in v1 when you’d be there to save me from hot water, to the CBJ thread parties, you’re probably one of the best people that’s been around in this game. You’re also one of the best GMs out there, still not on my level but close enough Sticking Out Tongue.

Your contributions to the game throughout these three versions, as (I think) the only game member to be a part of the BOG all GM Game seasons, it’s safe to say you will be missed cry
