I do think it's a bit of an overpay, but to get a 22 y/o winger with almost 2 40 goal seasons is definitely worth it.

DeAngelo to Winnipeg is an interesting idea, I like it. Rangers have Trouba and Fox so it probably doesn't make sense to go all-in with DeAngelo. A trade for a forward makes sense, and Winnipeg has many of them. It's probably a little overpayment by Rangers but it would be a good trade in general. Maybe Winnipeg could send a pick back or something to balance.

I don't think

The Pulju/Andersson swap is ok i guess.

I don't think Edmonton are keen to trade Broberg. Him and Bouchard are the future 1st pairing D.

Lol if shooting is all that matters yeah he’s great. I’ll take the guy that actually plays D. Most Jets fans prefer Ehlers. I agree. Wouldn’t pay this for Ehlers and I’d pay more for him than Laine.

I see now, you know nothing about Laine at all and are basing your opion on pretenses from his rookie and sophomore year. He was actually great defensively this year. He completely changed his game to be more then just a shooter.

Why would I ask a handful of random people on the internet who I don’t know and certainly don’t trust for their opinion on a player when I can just look up a player’s on ice performance and watch tape?

I hate to admit it being a Die Hard Pens Fan for life..... but I do love this young NYR team, they have so many players, prospects, & young players I like.

Id have to look into trades more but they seem fair to me at a glance?

And can you apply that analysis to Deangelo? Because he isn’t that good at all either. Offensively he is outstanding but he still is trash defensively.

Maybe he got better defensively than last season, but his stats still say he’s trash in that aspect as well as driving play. However, since he’s a goal scorer, I think this trade is fair.

I wouldn't put Puljujärvi on this team just to be honest man. It's a young team, he's kind of got the rep of a bad apple.
I don't want to put that near a team. Helll it's like inviting Paul Marner to join in. No thanks.
The risk isn't worth the reward to me.

I agree, Andersson for Pool Party is like trading 1 Rotten Apple for 1 Bad Apple

if they were both 2nd round picks they probably wouldn't seem as bad. andersson still looks like he'll be a NHL player. i've seen him play 4 times in hartford and none of those games he had points, but still made himself noticed. he'll be a solid bottom 6 player that can play the pk and play any position.
