I'm not even sure how much hockey I'll play this year, I've been done minor hockey for a while.

Oh same, but ODR’s we’re closed mostly during covid (cringe, but I kinda see why but still) at least where I lived

Ya, that's too bad.

I'm probably going to build a rink this year though.

From interviews and reading between the lines (from Kurz/ Peng etc) - Evander Kane has likely played his last game in SJ already.

Gonna be very interesting to see what happens within the coming months regardless of the court outcomes because if there is no termination - there is still likely no spot for him at least where things currently stand.

Thought the nhl concluded he didn't bet on his own games though. Why has he probably played his last game in San Jose?

That’s what I did last year, since COVID closed ODR’s and arenas for a month I decided to build a rink.

I don’t how to show images from my phone on to here, but it was very beautiful.

I live on a farm where there aren't any ODR's anyway so I need to biuld a rink, or skate on a pond.

Sad but true: I have never played ice hockey in my life frown
There are no arenas near me that offer 1-on-1 coaching for weak skaters like myself.
#1 on my bucket list. What I wouldn't give to be able to skate properly and play in a real actual hockey game...

Don't feel bad, I started even later than 11. smile

Meanwhile in Montreal you have 2-year-olds (not an exaggeration!) being brought to the rink to learn how to skate, complete with the "training hook" on the skate that digs into the ice. No wonder they're phenoms by age 8.

It's like playing an instrument, you need to start as young as possible and have crazy work ethic to be one of the greats. Even garbage players like Blake Comeau probably started when they were 3 (@EsoYeezus69 squinting with tongue out )

Wow, the only 3 remaining unsigned RFA's (not counting Golyshev and Bellows, who are with the Islanders in camp and are rumored to have already been signed): Elias Pettersson, Quinn Hughes, and Brady Tkachuk-are all training together in a Michigan rink, per Pierre Lebrun.

I’m 16 and I haven’t even learned how to skate yet lmao

If I ever get into organized hockey I feel like I’d be better off in a team executive role anyway, I’m about as athletic as a log.

Nahhhhh. Not a chance. But he’ll get it bc gms nowadays have no gonads

He’s pretty much a PP specialist. He’s mediocre at best 5v5

The second his "Betting Investigation" was closed the NHL opened a new investigation.

While he already has court stuff for a separate woman (for "paid" abortion he didnt pay for, lying, mental abuse etc etc etc), the court filings with his wife have intesified (while he filed for a restraining order on her, I think she has one on him too) - with new allegations including (from new court files) ; rape, forced sexual acts, abuse, accidently hitting his daughter (while attempting to hit his wife), I mean it goes on and on but I don't think I need to continue.

Anways..

With this, Wilson and the internal workings of the team (already being known a majority of the players and management, one of whom is most likely pending UFA Hertl, don't want him on the team) - its evident the team would like him gone asap.

At first, i thought Kane was the bad person but at this point, they both are, she seems to just want to sink him

I think the Sharks are just waiting for a definitive reason to terminate the contract. Kane is absolutely the type of person who would drag them through court if there was any way to contest the termination.

It took a year for Voynov's contract to be terminated, and his wasn't based on what has only been confirmed as hearsay.

Now because its Kypreos I would take it with a pinch of salt but man Buffalo has not handled this situation well at all. Have a feeling Bettman will step in soon
