Fair enough. Trading for Rakell would probably be a lateral move, unless he regains his old form. But, this team needs to upgrade their offense. Lots of middle six forwards. Not a lot of high end skill, aside from Barzal.

The NHL has no substantial evidence to act upon from the allegations involving his Wife.
So I think the investigations are “over” for now.

It's an excellent contract, no doubt. I think many fans look at his offensive numbers and think $9.5 is a lot of money. Especially, when you look at Makar's numbers and the fact that he signed for $9M, albeit with less term. Also, the league has changed: Younger players are now signing contracts that used to be reserved for UFA's. How many 23 y.o D's sign for huge money? Great defense is harder to quantify than goals and assists, too.

Dude needs help. His personal life is in shambles. I really hope they keep a close eye on him.

ACGM is full of these from all teams. Like on a daily basis you see Edmonton fans thinking Kassian still has value, sometimes see Columbus fans posting deadline trades thinking Korpisalo could get the same return as Kuemper, or my fav Vegas fans think they can get Eichel with retention for almost nothing and so on.


In general all fanbases post ludicrous trades its nothing unusual lul. Only one yet to be seen is Seattle. Thats why I rarely go on ACGM these days as you rarely see a genuine trade which sucks as I remember a year ago things were so good on ACGM then they all went to **** in 2021

Kane could potentially be criminally charged for possession of the fake card. I doubt it'll happen though.

The islanders could definitely use an upgrade to their offense - but guys Lee and Beauvillier are both high end top 6 forwards who have had better results than some players the mainstream consider elite. I think the offense is underrated, they just lacked finishing talent and they are banking on palmieri’s S% to regress to the mean and Wahlstrom continuing to develop into a top line forward.

My choice would be to get rid of bailey next offseason and try to trade for a young ish player like Kubalik.

Kane should just retire or move to the KHL, he's pretty much done and the KHL would accept him like they accepted Voynov, Virtanen, etc

Korpisalo is worth what Kuemper got, are you kidding me, I traded him at 50% for a 2nd and Husso in the GM Game smh. That aside, ACGM can be nice to check sometimes if you want to laugh/have a discussion about certain teams that may or may not go down a rabbit hole

I mean he’s as much of a legend as anyone can be when they play 22 regular season games for a franchise.

If eberle was an above average finisher he’d be a superstar
