Why is Muzzin waiving his NTC for Detroit? The Chychrun trade is hilarious. LOL

I'd be willing to take on Mrazek for CBJ, but you're going to have to add.

A guy who has yet to play a full season in his entire six-year NHL career, and has a pronounced history of concussions isn't moving the needle.

these are terrible trades lol, especially that Chychrun trade...way to completely over-value a floating winger who only shows up to play half of the games.

As for Muzzin, he carries negative value with his contract, so no, you won't be trading his terrible contract to Detroit for an asset. You have the pick going the wrong way, and it is a few rounds too late. Muzzin and a 1st to Detroit for a 7th.

MN declines. Hartman is our 1C right now and signed to a fantastic team friendly deal.

Not a Leafs fan, but I can confirm that every team has a group of fans that seriously over value their players. It's certainly not Leafs specific.

There's just more Leafs fans so they're the loudest.

I agree the Leafs should add one of the most consistently terrible goalies in the league to help solidify things for when Campbell is inevitably injured.

Correct. And in fairness, this is basically how the comments are followed up, which @zadinaveleno has successfully mirrored by his comments above. ACGM is funny:

-Once again, Jake Muzzin isn't waiving his NTC to go play for a rebuilding team, not when he's playing for a Cup contender 90 minutes from his hometown.

-Korpisalo is an interesting player to target as a bounce-back candidate but this trade is actively bad for Columbus. If you're swapping two mediocre/bad goalies but one is older and has a much larger cap hit ($3.8M vs. $1.3M), you need to offer more of an incentive than the RFA rights to a guy with Kase's injury history.

-Minnesota passes. Their D corps is pretty much set for next season (Brodin, Spurgeon, Dumba, Goligoski, Merrill, Kulikov, Addison all signed for next year and Middleton as an RFA) so adding Liljegren isn't necessary; especially not if it takes away Hartman, a guy who just scored 34 goals this season and is signed for 2 more years @ $1.7M. Minnesota needs him to be part of their core going forward the next couple years as they deal with the Parise/Suter buyouts.

-I just don't see why Arizona makes this trade. Nylander doesn't take them from the basement to the playoffs, so why are they giving up their best trade chip *plus* a 1st and a 2nd? I could maybe see this deal if you needed to trade Auston Matthews and wanted to send him home, because he's the kind of guy who can carry a franchise. Not Willie Nylander, though.

If I'm Arizona I'm drooling at the chance to acquire Nylander, so that when Auston Mathews is UFA in 2 years Not only can you offer him a crazy like 14 mil contract to come home and save the Arizona franchise but also one of his best friends and teammates is already there.
