Meh, watching him with the wings just gave me the impression of a person who would be in the AHL except for filler games

He's definitely scoring in the first Ducks-Canucks game this season

As a Bruins fan who gets crap every time any player from the -15 draft is mentioned I just want to point out Joulevi was picked one slot ahead of Matt Tkachuk

You don't need to be so paranoid. He didn't score for Florida or Detroit when the Canucks played those teams last season

Maybe he'll score for the San Diego Gulls when they play Abbotsford for the first time in the AHL next season. That's a more realistic goal.

People wanted him, but nobody wanted Janne Kuokkanen? Odd…

It's a two-way deal for someone who can play in the NHL, but will likely be an AHLer for most of his career. Solid win.

Hardly any games played over the last several years in AHL or NHL, or even anywhere else. What gives? Has he been the 13th forward all that time?

But the Nucks did not have 3 picks in a row and blow all 3 of them....they just messed up one lol.

Sure, but also, pick 7 or wherever Joulevi was drafted typically has way more certainty than picks 14-16

And to be fair to the Canucks, this player was expected to go 6th to 10th, so picking him 5th was not a stretch. Also, injuries killed his development.
