Would try to get rid of Wheeler but if there's no takers just move him along at the deadline or ride out the last year of his deal.

I agree and there are a couple of UFAs that make a lot more sense for Detroit. That 2nd is one of 3 picks Detroit has at the start of the 2nd round and they can easily be used to gain another 1st round pick,
