So if we use the playoff formula Bunting got a 6 game reg season suspension as a first time offender. Idk that seems like overkill considering the above. I know people will go to Scheifele but that was a completely different kind of hit and the guy who received it went to the hospital on a stretcher.

If we go by a past example. McDavid in 2019 got suspended 2 games for a headshot against the NYI first time offender. Another Cernak elbow to Okoposo Jaw 2 games. So if they got 2 how did Bunting get 3 in playoff games. For a guy like Kadri sure as he had past offenses to add to that bad book. Bunting before that did nothing, clean record. He had a bad rep with refs sure but that should not influence decisions by DOPS as they got nothing to do with that.

Also if you take a closer look at the ice where Bunting is he jumps up at Cernak
