Obviously Wheeler isn’t what he used to be but still an absolute steal for the Rangers. Especially given they need all the cheap contracts they can get

Great Signing by NYR. Wheels has caught a lot of flack for being 'toxic' in the lockerroom, but the only thing I've ever heard bad about him is that he holds people to a high standard and his teammates don't like being called out for being lazy

Even though Wheeler is past his prime, he can still put up points. Getting him for nearly league minimum is absolute highway robbery.

Best contract in the league hands down (unless Bergeron and Krejci sign for cheap again). Good leader, great guy, and still a top 6 player at his age. He deserves a Cup before he retires, after all he did for the Jets. Going to miss him in Winnipeg, arguably the greatest Jet of all time. 😭😭😭💕
