Dubas brain turns off with goalies

5x5.375M for an injury prone guy with shaky confidence is rough. He's already 28 too.

Jarry is underrated, maybe a little too much money but they needed to bring him back

Oh no.

I'd rather Jarry on this contract than Hill on the one that you guys just signed him for.

I like Jarry. But he still needs to prove he can stay healthy. The problem here is the term. I'd like if it's a 2 or 3 years deal. But 5...Anyway, I really hope it works for Pens.

This is a tough read, it felt like it was gonna be hard for Pittsburgh to move on from Jarry with how thin the FA crop was this year.

After the first hour or two of FA, their options looked even worse. He's shown flashes of being a high quality goalie, but the injuries are a real concern.

The cap hit feels a bit higher than the estimations I saw, but there had to be some intense pressure built from the fact they he could just walk.

Ultimately, this feels like the best option they had with what was available. I'll be interested to see if there are any no movement terms.

The guy never did the job when it mattered, so PIT doubled down on him 🙄

Hopefully, he doesnt have a no trade list and they can swap him for Gibson ASAP, like they should have done years ago.

Jarry is miles better than Korpisalo, they aren't even close.
