Oh my god, the summer of Brad is upon us!

I adore this deal. It doesn't interefere with the Matthews / Nylander extensions, doesn't committ an unruly amount of term to a guy that has dealt with injuries, and allows us to renegotiate a contract next year when the cap raises. This is just a perfect fit and a perfect scenario for the Leafs. Brad is not screwing around

I l;ike it as sure you could say why not 5.25m x 7 years to that I say what if he gets hurt year 1 or sucked that would become an anchor fast. If he works out next year with the cap going through a big jump talk to him about an extension

Didn't see this coming. Kept hearing he was going to get 6-8 for term and thought it nuts considering he was coming off a season where kerfoot outscored him. But he has way more upside so a one year deal? Nice!
