I think things we’ll improve once we play some home games for a change and get healthy again. Orlov needs to be playing with Slavin and Deangelo needs to be watching from the press box. I don’t want to see those two on the same line again this season.

5 games in and the Habs have already lost Dach, Guhle and Savard (not counting Dvorak, Wideman, Price who we're already hurt before the season, and guys like Heineman, Reinbacher, Lane Hutson who are hurt but not NHLer's)

From Elliote Friedman: There is word the NHL, NHLPA and NHL Player Inclusion Coalition have agreed that players will have the option to represent social causes with stick tape throughout the season. This includes games and practices.

The NHL, the only sport that can backtrack a policy 5 games into a season because they're dumb and they thought it'd work

Leafs powerplay would be so much better if they utilized Marner like Kucherov instead of sticking him in the bumper. Not that Toronto's PP needs any help or anything, but it would be so much more dangerous having a guy like Marner at the top of the circle. Get him shooting more and stick Bertuzzi in the bumper slot.
