I just saw the Dylan Larkin injury. That was scary.

He was hit in head by Mathieu Joseph, went unconscious and collapsed face down on ice. You could see his whole body go limp, fall, then lay motionless on ice. I pray that he is okay.

NHL has got to do something about (1) head shots; and (2) hits from behind into boards. It has unfortunately become a strategy of weaker players and teams to target star players. And league should start pushing more 5 min-majors for these (suspensions too).

(Even with hits that may be technically legal, you know an attempt to injure when you see it….let the refs call it)

That's the duo I would try to acquire if I wanted to beef up my defense.

Seeler has been very steady for 2 straight years, and Walker's been on a mission.

I'm getting worried the Flyers are a playoff team though. I really hope even if they are in a spot where a playoff spot is possible they sell at the deeadline. We're playing well but our top ice getter's are mostly veterans. We had a l;ot of guys make improvements last year, and most of them have regressed in some areas.

I also think getting a #1 Dman, is essential to building a Contender, I only really #2's and #3's in the Flyers system. I'd really like a Zeev Buium but that seems increasingly unlikely as the season progresses.

Larkin's injury seems more like an unfortunate result, Joseph gives him a neck shot and Larkin then gets stuck between Joseph and Kelly and his neck/head probably moved in a way it shouldn't of, Joseph definitely deserves a penalty there but it doesn't deserve anything more

He probably didn't see who hit Larkin, but Zub happened to be closest when Perron looked over and Perron was trying to defend Larkin. Happens pretty often in scuffles. Big Hit/Something happens, Teammate trys to stick up for other teammate, and gets the wrong guy.
