I really like the idea of Trenin in Colorado, and I like Graham Sward. That being said, I REALLY like Jeremy Hanzel and I think a 3rd round pick is exactly what Trenin is worth. It's not like Colorado got fleeced or anything and they did add a useful player, but I think Nashville wins. Hopefully Trenin can go back to his 17 goal self and keep playing his physical style of game, then I think its pretty easy to argue Colorado won

Colorado is cooking this TDL. They fixed their bottom 6 issues with Trenin and Duhaime. No more AHL plugs to fill these holes

A 3rd is about what I'd pay for Trenin.

And the prospects cancel each other out.

Fair deal.

I'd say their Cup chances have improved substantially over the last 2 days.

Center and bottom 6 holes plugged. Now go get a No 2 goalie to give Kuemper some rest before the playoffs.

Edit: Georgiev, not Kuemper, duh. Brain fart.

I've been calling Trenin to the avs for years!! I'm excited for him. He's had a rough year this year. But he seems to score against the avs a lot. He also has 171 hits this year. I'm pumped for him. I'll miss Hanzel I really do think he's a good prospect, and I think he'll fit Nashville. That said Graham sward has exploded offensively with Wenatchee this season. Avs getting the more offensive dman, Nashville getting the more defensive dman. Fair deal.

Colorado continues an aggressive and impressive deadline! Now we just need a goalie.

Thus trade alone is a fair deal, and I love it!

Trenin is so much better than any 4C the Avs had though

But hes not a center hes a left wing he's only taken 28 faceoffs this year

Wagner has done fine as the 4c with a 58% FOW%

Bro why did Nashville trade Trenin when they're in a playoffs spot? It's not like the 3rd is gonna turn into the next McDavid or an useful player.

Oh snap yeah, Georgiev lol. The guy with 51 starts in 64 games.

Great pickup. The Avs are much deeper on paper than they were two days ago.

Still expecting a trade for a backup goalie but really like these recent additions.

I wanted Trenin in jersey a LOT. He's a great pickup. Hopefully NJD can find a way to get him as a UFA

Yeah, I’ve had my eye on him for the past couple years too. Good Physical Two-Way Player

Great PK guy as well. Throws hits, but it's not just physicality for the sake of physicality. His defensive metrics are overall quite good. I just put some money on the Avs to win the cup again after seeing Duhaime (who I also really liked) and Trenin

I think Duhaime is underrated. Great pick ups for the Avs
