Yep hes gonna have to earn it but as he showed 2 seasons ago he can compete with the best as if it was not for the NHL cancelling the season he, Ovie, and Pasta would probs have 3-way tied.

As for this year so far hes going pretty good. 20 goals in 27 games with 14 goals in his previous 10 games. To bad the covid break happened as with that pace he would probs be leading by now. Missing a few games due to the wrist also has a slight impact but he seems to have made up for those 3 missed games.

Still being 2nd in the league in GPG aint bad for a 24 year old with Ovie of course leading with 0.66 vs 0.61. Dont think we will see anyone pass that for a long time.

Lol, my NHL connection is that Will Bitten went to my high school ( he’s never played in the NHL but being drafted is a good start ). Unless you want to go down the i met this guy once in which case i can say I’ve met Mike Bossy, Mathieu Dandenault, Sean Monahan and a couple other former Ottawa 67’s

Imagine they’re allowed to select players like Laffy, Raymond, ect because the NHL would be over.

That would genuinely be sick, but I’m still not sure that their NHL teams would allow it.

I would just like to inform the good people of capfriendly that Evan Bouchard just scored his 6th goal and 19 point of the season and btw he is lucky if he gets 30 seconds of pp time in a game because of Barrie and he has really developed his defensive game

Depends when they host it. Lafreniere is to old as its U20. But if its before March Raymond can

I mean was Matthews really handed the rocket

Remember he scored 41 on an injured wrist that some days made him unable to even hold a stick or forced him to miss 4 games which in the end resulted in offseason surgery.

Barrie, Tanev, Bunting, Spezza, and Doughty? What a joke. Tanev especially, he’s a 3rd liner now, like come on, I’d legitimately rather see Bergeron as a 75yo on that team over Tanev. Why does Button have any credibility as a journalist, all he does is post the most truly terrible takes.
