It's a good thing Thompson & Terry both have another year of contract after this one. I have no idea what I'd offer them if there were RFA this summer.

Those teams have lots of cap, so I'd do 1 × 7m

And if they regress, you're stuck with a $7M QO unless they pull a Kotkaniemi.

I'd offer those guys bridge deals, something like a 1-2 year deal at 4-5 mil

Good news is team is doing well even with him out, bad news poor guy great when he was playing

Probs should be back for the playoffs at some stage in R1 is my guess which is fine. Take all the time he needs is my recommendation

he took a MINOR NOTHING elbow to the head vs njd and was out for almost the entire year with boston last year, this dude has SERIOUS concussion history, he needs to stop playing.

Am I the only one who just realized that not only did Matthews break Vaive's Leafs record for most goals in a season, but also set the record for most goals by any American player ever in a single season?

I thought Brett Hull held that record until I realized he was actually born in ontario, but lived in the US his whole life

https://canucksarmy.com/2022/04/11/monday-mailbag-exploring-reverse-arbitration-brock-boeser-fix-canucks-salary-cap-situation/

For this thinking Boeser has to get at least a 7.5 million dollar QO, there is actually another solution.

This article explains that the Canucks can actually file for arbitration themself making the league have to come up with a reasonable salary for Boeser based on performance. Given his poor performance this season, his cost is going to drop down a lot and could potentially have to settle for 6 million if he refuses to sign anything else

alot of people keep obsessing over QO's that are higher than the players projected value. you dont have to give the player a qualifying offer...

Let’s all bet where we think Lambert is getting drafted and we’ll revisit draft day. I’ll say 16-18 but at a specific spot I’ll say 18

I'm thinking 11

I don't think he necessarily deserves it, but I think a gm will do it

He has similar numbers to Raty last year. Absolutely not good. Do I think he bounces back, yes. But as of now he needs work

Gonna be interesting to see how expensive Kadri is on the open market. He's gonna be coming off a career year. Personally, I wouldn't touch him on a Matt Duchenne-like deal.
