No. But if you think about it. How many Generational talents have they had. They have had some really good guys but nothing like McDavid

I just find it crazy that a 100+ year old franchise has never had a generational talent up until now.

Like Keon, Sundin, Gilmour, Clark, Salming etc are all excellent players, but none were ever the best player in the league.

True, but there's a legit argument he is the second best player in the league (or at least the second best centre). None of those guys were every top 2 in the league either.
