Jac Plante, Ken Dryden, Patrick Roy, Jose Theodore, Carey Price and Jake Allen. The Habs have had so many elite goaltenders in their history

Truly admirable the grace and humility he showed. Never once did he complain when Babcock sat him, never once did he complain about his minutes, never once did he complain about being scratched. He handled it as a true sportsman. One of the most sportsmanlike players in hockey, truly aged and became a veteran well. His passion and dedication to this team and hockey is incredible. What a career and what a player. Wish him all the best.

Thank you Jason.

Would have thought he would have played till he got 1000 then retired and joined the front office

But hey glad to have Spezza in our management team as a special assistant GM.

His experience will come in handy for whatever his role allows him to do

Wouldnt have had it any other way

Also retire his number hes earned it

Leafs? Leafs won’t retire Spezza’s number, he’s not even close to getting that from the Leafs

How would you all rank the Flames' additions of Toffoli and Jarnkrok this year? (Toffoli of course has more term, but do you want it if you're Calgary?)

Seems like they're up there with Chiarot as the biggest TDL busts.

The thing with Toffoli though was he came with term so they can use him for two more years and I got a feeling with a full training camp he should be much better with them. Jarnkrok though yeah didnt really look great and got a feeling hes a pure rental.

Looking at his stats, they aren't that bad. but not as good as the Flames hoped. Toffoli's contract is valuable so I still think Flames win the trade. (According to DucharmetheDOMinator, Canadiens could have gotten Zary/Pelletier + 1st in return)
Jarnkrok didn't do much but he's cousins with Lindholm so thats cool

Joel Armia makes it 3-1 and Finland will likely win gold.

- Claude Julien isn't an NHL caliber coach anymore. Many questionable decisions.
- Who tf picked our goalies. Biggest weakness of the tournament (also Penalties).

Well played Finland, there's a reason you are the best hockey country on the planet.

That 3-2 goal was a joke.

Cross checked a guy to the net, and it was off its position. I can't fathom why they overturned the initial decision
