That Flames deal might be one of the worst I've seen on this site. The guy has been a healthy scratch on an 0-6 team this year and is bringing back 2 1sts, a 3rd and a 4th!

Horvat would get you more than that. Make it Blais, a 1st, and Kravstov. I don't know if that's enough.

Doubt the Canucks have interest in 8 years of retention on Miller and I doubt the Leafs have any interest in another expensive winger.

1C/2C are full, there’s Laf/Key and others to sign. Would horvat like to play in NY, yes, can they afford him, no. Also he likely get more $ to be a C from another team🤷🏻‍♂️

They are going to retain Miller for 7 years? That is $14 million…roughly equivalent to value of three 1st round picks (if his contract is at market value).

If offered Coronato or Garland for for next five years, I am taking Coronato. Not for future value or cap savings. For overall 5-year production in NHL. Also, Coronato can play center.
