I'm thinking Boston would be eager to step up. They have the players to command respect and some change out of Merkley and would both benefit miles from adding a young scoring RHD.

Isnt that a conditioning loan?

"A player whom consented to a Conditioning Loan can be Loaned to a minor league club for a maximum of 14 days without passing through waivers. CBA Reference 13.8"

Chris Johnston reported waivers. He already had that conditioning loan. I need to read the rules more. But I’m pretty sure he is on waivers

I may be mistaken, but I believe he was on a conditioning loan that has expired and Detroit want him to stay longer.

It’s not about the foot speed , it’s about playing fast. Wahlstrom is probably out for the season with an injury but he’s usually been above average in transition since joining the isles.

Chicago and Arizona have the cap space but they're both in dumpster fire teardown mode. I can't see either team adding a player to their current roster. Anaheim, on the other hand, have already started to sign veterans for their post-rebuild window (Strome, Vatrano)

Everybody go answer the poll on my most recent ACGM. Genuinely curious to see what different users value more; Quantitative production (Points, measurable defensive metrics, etc), or qualitative skills (Skating, forechecking, grit)
