I’d don’t believe they exist anymore

Bertuzzi for Broberg, Jesse Puljujarvi and a third-round pick

Or

Chiarot for Broberg, a 2023 second-round pick, and Luca Munzenberger

😮

Chiarot getting traded again would be absolutely bonkers.

I think they made it clear they're not dealing Bertuzzi at this deadline, given that they are actually seriously fighting for a playoff position.

I think STL wants to keep it hush hush for now.

Tarasenko trade lasted longer than a hour to fully break.

Cant wait to see Xavier put up 50 points in the top 6 when McDavids left EDM because Holland is throwing away his career

For Katz to fire Ken Holland honestly.

I'd love a top-pair RHD and a Ceci replacement. Karlsson and Jensen. Probably a name like Fast or Lafferty to remediate the PK as well. A replacement for Campbell wouldn't be unwelcome either.

Grubauer probably makes more sense but I would actually much prefer to bury Jack in the minors for the rest of the year and take a flyer on Korpisalo.

I would then be buying Campbell out this summer.

His buyout is actually pretty decent, eh? 8 years of dead cap isn't ideal, but the extra space - so long as it's spent well - in the next few years definitely outweighs the downside.

Very good return for the Blues.
Armstrong's killing it with this string of trades.
Admittedly I'm lower on Barbashev than most but Dean strikes me as waay too much go up for such a flawed player.

The Oilers would honestly be better with Pickard as their backup right now. Besides his run in January, Campbell has been playing like an 80s goalie. The Oilers are averaging 4.5 goals per game in his last four starts and he's lost every one of em.

I guess it’s down to;

Cormier vs Holtz vs (imo wildcard is Buffalo) Kulich
Brisson vs Walsh/ Casey/ Muk (whoever NJD wanna deal) vs UPL/ Portillo (I think BUF may look at including a Reimer UPL swap?)
VGK24 1st vs Zetterlund vs Buffalos decision if they wanna bid
2023 1sts from all teams.

What would y’all do if you any of those three teams? Seems apparent NJD have the largest offer on the table but VGK isn’t backing down, and there’s always a team we don’t know about. Always.

I swear every time Dallas does a trade it's either confusing or complete mid

At least they did something, that's a plus.

I don't hate the trade. Stars would have been stupid to meet Gurianov's $2.9M qualifying offer this offseason. If I'm taking a shot on either Gurianov or Dadonov for the rest of the season, give me the guy that's playing better right now and at least has a history of putting up 20 goal campaigns.

Getting an upgrade over Gurianov (even if it's a small one) for free AND saving money on the deal is a no-brainer for Nill, IMO. Let Montreal pay out the $2.9M qualifying offer if they want to keep him.

Tbh I kinda agree, this does make DAL better short term. I'm not against the move, I just find it a bit confusing. I initially thought they'd use Guri as a centerpiece for some big fish acquisition, but instead they used him on a marginal move.

I think the issue is that nobody really wanted Gurianov so it was difficult to make him the focal piece of a big fish return.

That being said, I don't think Nill is done. With Dallas being linked to both Watson and Jeannot, it looks like Dallas is really looking to beef up a little bit. I still think they go after one of those two guys. Really curious to see what Nill uses as trade bait moving forward.
