Put the prospects names in a hat and poof

Created by: Pens3lieve
Team: 2021-22 Pittsburgh Penguins
Initial Creation Date: Jun. 1, 2020
Published: Jun. 26, 2020
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
Future contracts are hard to judge.
Marino looked great but if a "sophomore slump" hits--he's not getting 5M.

For sake of argument I put Poulin/PO Joseph in the lineup, but who do you see making the team in 2021-22?

This team is an elite contender. Marino probably gets 5 Million & I would swap Coleman & McCann. Coleman is not really a center.

sure. Coleman I think would be a good fit because he's a really good depth tenacious player.

Exactly my thoughts plus he’s got decent possession numbers & is solid defensively. I was thinking about the Pens possibly signing him for around 3 Million earlier this morning.

neither one of them are centers.
Which is why I think we are going to see Hallander next year.
I can't wait to see him at the NHL level. I have had the pleasure of following him over here in Europe.
He's very much a ZAR like player with better hands and offensive upside. I think people are going to be very surprised by the game he brings. He's big, gritty, crashes the net, good at faceoffs and solid defensively. They will probably ask him to change his game a little like they did with ZAR. But I think he's so much more talented that they don't hold him back.

Sharks decline. I think were more comfortable going after a ufa goalie so we dont lose desperately needed top six rw’s.

Dude, I love how much of a dork u are (like me, lol) & how u love making teams too & how much u love the Pens.....
BUT U WAY WAY UNDERVALUE MATT MURRAY ON SO MANY TRADES!!!
The dude is a 25yr old 2-time Stanley Cup winning Goalie, last I checked there aren't many of them... Yes he's had a down & injury related yr this yr but still played OK & has had good games.
PLUS he was so good at the end of last yr - Playing the last 25 gms of the season & Murr's was basically the reason we even got into playoffs.

Kings don't go for that. They need 3 RHD and have exactly 3. Walker and Roy aren't for sale unless someone makes a huge overpayment. This isn't that.

Wait, you are from Europe? I thought for sure you are American.

I admit, I haven’t watched him in-game at all, only seen highlights. Based on your analysis, it seems he is the ideal player to be the Pens 3rd Line center.

lol ik I think he has more value but I'd rather get shot by friendly fire for undervaluing than shot by 30 other franchises fans who have nukes instead of NERF. lol if you get my drift...

Does a "duel citizen" fight himself in a sword/gun fight? LOL
BTW I'm a dual citizen as well so no offense.

I think we can get more for that Murray package, but Lebanc wouldn't be a bad fit on this team tho
