Honestly if Armstrong didnt early extend Faulk, Pitrangelo would have still been a blue

Plus no need for Krug so you take that extra money and go spend on a more defensive LD.

The Faulk move was a head scratcher from day 1. They basically prepared for Pietro to leave and in turn forced him to leave. SMH.

Like honestly picture this

Faulk is just a rental (so no 6.5mill) along with Scandella (saves slightly over 3mill)

Pitrangelo at the deadline agrees to 8.8x8yrs

So Blues Dcore

?-Pitrangelo
Dunn-Parayko
Mikkola-Bortuzzo

So who is paired with Pitrangelo, bring in the Isles

Armstrong trades 2 2nds and brings in Toews and gives him his 4.1mill deal. So their Dcore in the end

Toews-Pitrangelo
Dunn-Parayko
Mikkola-Bortuzzo.

Which is way better than

Krug-Parayko
Scandella-Faulk
