- Not sign Ceci
- Not Trade Jon Marino for a 6th
- Not Trade 2 2nds for AA
- Not Sign Kassian
- Not sign Nurse for 8 years


He's one of the worst GMs in the league. If it wasn't for McDavid + Draisaitl, this would be the worst constructed teams in the league.

Nurse’s extension was necessary and I think Marino forced his way out but yes, Keith, Ceci, Smith, Kassian, AA, etc were dumb moves

I'd rather Nurse walk than pay him what he got. He's not a #1 and shouldn't be paid like such.

I was expecting a lot more trades at this point but I have a strong feeling a top player on the market will get traded

the only 2 teams that Debcrincat makes sense for is NJ and ANA. They can afford to give up the necessary assets and still have a great lineup.

I’d love for SJ to try and swing Dach (much more of a complicated scenario to discuss) but moving Debrincat is a bad move for Chicago unless they find a crazy overpay

Depends how low. I think what Chicago would demand is more than I'm willing to pay. I see him as a Drouin type, which we could use at C, but I'd rather avoid someone with similar defensive liabilities.
His production bouncing back is buoyed by 66% OZ deployment and he's still only treading water.

I'd take the chance of a change of scenery, but I wouldn't bet a lot on him becoming more reliable or consistent.

Hes been on a 40 goal pace twice in the past 2 years. And is making 6.4mill someone gonna overpay.

I think it would be unwise to do this trade because there’s the potential risk you get a better player in the top 5 if this years draft. If you trades the pick away and they got someone like Savoie, Slavkovsky, Nemec, I don’t think it would be worth it

I know. I just really love Debrincat . If we can do the trade with replacing Pinto with one of JBD or Brannstrom I’d do it .

Interesting development in Edmonton for the Devils

Flu spreading around for the Devils. Missing from practice was Hamilton, Bratt, Bastian, Jaros, Tatar along with Zacha and Tatar injured. Devils might not have enough players

And game time is 1.5 hours away
