Why Auston Matthews forehead so big. I watched the jersey promo from earlier and damn lol

Every goal he scores, his forehead increases. A small price to pay for goals

Hockey players in general aren't the most good looking guys. Not a huge part of the business honestly lol.

Henrik Lundqvist, Tyler Seguin and Roman Josi are exceptions in this.

1) potentially losing teeth
2) stress from pressure can help increase hair loss
3) a lot have nose bumps from helmets , hits , visors , elbows , sticks etc

Boucher was absolutely a reach (although I will concede that when Boucher, Greig, Kleven are on the Sens they will be hard as hell to play against) not enough crab is talked about how bad their next two picks were.
Zack Ostapchuk at 39 (Morrow, Stankoven, Heimosalmi, Pinelli), and Benjamin Roger at 49 (Koivunen, Raty, Peart, Knies, Kidney).

He also passed on Kaliyev, Lavoie, Hoglander , Brink for Pinto. And then passed on Hoglander and Lavoie again for Sogard . Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t

Pierre McGuire effect probably, their 2021 picks we're pretty much all baffling

For anyone interested:

Seems it is from NHL bylaws predating the CBA which news sources and hockey execs have a habit of getting wrong, resulting in the information being disseminated as credible and accurate.
Allan Walsh confirmed the source as the bylaws in his comment thread.

Any player already on one team's reserve list, is ineligible to play on another team past the deadline. Regular or post season. Whether unsigned, traded, or waived.

UFA's can be signed, but are ineligible for the post season only.

....

So for Dadonov, his season is over unless he stays with Vegas or everyone agrees to the trade to Anaheim and the league allows it since it was technically initiated prior to the deadline.
A trade elsewhere or waivers would make him ineligible unless the league rules for an exception, which I doubt would happen. I don't know if there is a precedent, but it's not in their interest to set one.

I would’ve drafted Sillinger and Morrow right off the bat. That’s who I wanted the Sens to take with the first 2 picks

Sens are already stacked with prospects anyway.

Not really. We still need high end forwards. Greig and Pinto are nice. Sanderson, JBD and Thomson are also nice. But we need a forward or RD that’s better than everyone on that list except Sanderson

Ben Rogers was a joke; personally don’t even believe it’s real - that pick is in the void

lol im sure 30 teams would have interest in a 22 YO top pair defenseman.

Hint of sarcasm in my comment.

Here’s certain draft fits I really like:
1) Seattle - Wright . (Wright , Beniers 1-2 punch)
2) Sens - Slafkvosky (Slafkvosky with Jimmy will be insane )
3) Montreal - Nemec - you get basically another Subban in his prime.
4) Philly - Savoie. High offensive talent , in their range too.
5) Devils - Jiricek ( a future top 4 of Hughes-Jiricek , Mukhamadullin-Hamilton)

I really really hope Nemec or Jiricek fall to us at where ever we are....

I think the sabres start dropping in the standings soon, 13 of there remaining 19 are against playoff teams. 2 vs Chicago, 2 vs Phi, then we get NJ and the Islanders. I really don't think the sabres keep winning down the stretch against the stiff competition. While someone like ottowa play 9 of 20 against playoff teams. Devils are 10/20, Philly is 11/20. Chicago is 7/19.
