Some puzzling head-to-heads

Zachary Jones (#100) over Scott Morrow (#153) - Morrow's 1st year was better than both Jones' years at UMass-Amherst
Olen Zellweger (#51) over Lukas Cormier (#69) - Anyone who watched WJC would see this, unless you just looked at point totals
Calen Addison (#60) over Brock Faber (#74)
Jiri Kulich (#89) over Alex Turcotte (#108)
William Dufour (#77) over Matthew Coronato (#107)
Nathan Gaucher (#89) over Aatu Raty (#126)
Connor Zary (#93) over Thomas Bordeleau (#111)

Some questionable omissions

Arseni Gritsyuk
Bobby Brink
Corson Ceulemans
Ian Moore
Jackson Blake
Sean Farrell
Vincent Iorio

Zellweger > Cormier isn't something I'd call questionable. Zellweger put up a record breaking season in the WHL. I also watched every Canadian WJC game and while Cormier was the better all-round player, Zellweger wasn't far off while also being 1.5 years younger. And since this is based off projection, it's fair to put Zellweger over Cormier because of certain indicators like the mentioned WHL season and this impressive WJC performance at just 18 years old. He's by no means a perfect player and still has to improve areas of his game in the future but even when taking off the homer glasses, I'd take Zellweger's projected future over Cormier's (aside from this Cormier reamins one of my favorite prospects in general, not trying to discredit him here).

My bad, should have put in there, he is not playing yet, only traveling with the team.

Still a positive sign tho

I just meant because of the writing lol. He's got a name underlined and says Rodion Amirov is listed as part of the team, and I guess I just have to take his word for it.

If all goes well hopefully will play Nov or Dec and I just hope he doesnt end up just sitting out games for no reason as then we are back to the same issues as last year. Would have liked for him to be with the Marlies while he recovers but I can see why playing close to home is better for him rn

the Prospect Tournament starts in 3 days!

I know it would be pretty much impossible logistically, but i feel like it would be cool for 3 more teams to take part in this to bump the number to an even 8. the phrase "5-team tournament" doesn't really sit well with me, even if it is a round robin.

Hayes is almost two years older than Fims, there is more room for him to grow. And I like him better. Until last year with Kressler, they rarely signed anyone to an ELC. I am hoping for Fims

I’m hoping the Leafs sign Fimis too, surprised he wasn’t picked this draft, one of the best players not to be drafted ( and a consensus round 3-4 guy )
