Nice!

Sabres have 11, which is pretty nice! Dahlin (7), Cozens (13), Power (20), Quinn (39), Krebs (42), Savoie (64), Peterka (68), Kulich (89), (4th Best Goalie U23) Levi (113), Ostlund (155), Johnson (162)

Also Is Luke Hughes going to be better than Owen Power in his NHL career? He is ranked a Full Tier ahead of Power? Like i could see them being 11-12 or whatever but Hughes being tier 2 rank, 11 and Power being tier 3 rank 20 is something.

Also surprised to see cozens so high, not that i don't think that he can be exactly where he is.(breakout candidate for 22-23. Honestly think he could become a PPG player in the next year or 2, and he is very good defensively because of his compete levels.

i would have thought most underrated would have gone to Jakub Skarek

Don't hear very many people talking about him. That kid is a stud.

On the Pronman rankings, having Caufield below Reichel is certainly a choice. So is having Lysell below Olausson. I usually don’t like to nitpick too much but some of them really make no sense. Luke Hughes at 11, followed by Power at 20 and Sanderson at 27? Like, okay I guess. I’d have Power with a very slight edge on Sanderson and then Hughes next but also close personally. I think he’s too high on Byfield for sure. I was also surprised to see Greig at 127 and Sokolov at 130. Can’t tell if Sokolov is less underrated than I thought or Greig is more underrated lol (leaning towards the latter, I’d take Greig over Zary [93] in a heartbeat as a fan of both teams).

Pretty sure Slaf was over Caufield too and I’d much rather have Caufield than Slaf, can’t even say I’m biased lol, they’re both Habs

I think that’s just because you’ve already seen Caufield do well to a certain extent in the NHL, so there’s less projection, but I see them as honestly fairly similar (both are good skaters with great skill and high-end shots) but one is 6’4” and the other is 5’7” lol, if they both reach their peak (top line, consistently money in the bank for 30 goals and 70 points, likely higher during their primes) then the tie goes to the bigger dude generally, he can just muscle through guys easier if necessary (better against bigger, meaner teams) and is less likely to face issues in the playoffs.

Some puzzling head-to-heads

Zachary Jones (#100) over Scott Morrow (#153) - Morrow's 1st year was better than both Jones' years at UMass-Amherst
Olen Zellweger (#51) over Lukas Cormier (#69) - Anyone who watched WJC would see this, unless you just looked at point totals
Calen Addison (#60) over Brock Faber (#74)
Jiri Kulich (#89) over Alex Turcotte (#108)
William Dufour (#77) over Matthew Coronato (#107)
Nathan Gaucher (#89) over Aatu Raty (#126)
Connor Zary (#93) over Thomas Bordeleau (#111)

Some questionable omissions

Arseni Gritsyuk
Bobby Brink
Corson Ceulemans
Ian Moore
Jackson Blake
Sean Farrell

Hughes over Power? The Kulich one isn't that puzzling IMO since he is so much younger and Turcotte has struggled.

Cannot argue with Hughes over Power since

1. I am a wildly biased Devils fan who will never cede ground on Hughes bros
2. I think they are both in highest tier of prospects.

(FWIW, I had Power ranked #1 in my rankings)

Yea, honestly i think they are the clear #1/2 defenders. It was just the fact that Hughes is that much over power, like 9 spots and a whole tier. idk maybe thats just my buffalo bias.

Fair gripe.

They were in same draft and Power went 1st. They played on same team and Power got more minutes, at least before Olympic break.

But down the stretch, once Power was back, Hughes was the better player on that team. He went on to become the first freshman d-man to be Hobey Baker finalist since Brian Leetch (1987) while being the 3rd youngest player in all of NCAA.
