I bet it'll be like be like Kyrou, Neighbors, Scandella and a 1st for Tkachuk. STL will have one of the best top F cores in the league but their defense is mediocre at best.

Its not bad but LA honestly has the best package

Like pick two of Iafallo, Arvidsson, or Kempe, and maybe one of their big prospects, picks, etc whats not to love

Dont know what a package would look like but getting 2 solid wings to fill out the roster aint bad

If Rob Blake is ballsy enough he do it. He easily can justify the type of package he could offer.

I think it’s too hard to argue the inter divisional crap - it’s going to be interesting because I think it’s arguably the best destination he can land. I mean LA is sailing through their rebuild and they really weren’t a easy first round challenge - and they’re still so “young” in this era of the franchise.

We don’t need wingers to fill out the roster. We need centres and a RD to fill out the roster lmao we have so many wingers (Mangiapane, Dube, Pelletier, Coronato, Coleman, Toffoli if he doesn’t get moved, neither Kerins nor Zary is a lock to be a centre at the NHL level)

I just saw someone trade Josh Anderson for Rasmus Andersson. It’s been a long time since I’ve gone to someone’s profile to find a post of theirs from another thread so I can ignore them but that made me do so without hesitation.

The Flames shouldn't do anything major this season except trade Tkachuk. If they get Bedard - roll with him and the current core. If they don't, trade Toffoli, Coleman, Tanev, etc.

Edmonton Oilers
I hate the Oilers but if there’s any team I want winning the cup next season; it’s that team - it was an exciting run.

The only way we get Bedard is if we finish 11th last and win the lottery lol, this team without Tkachuk and Gaudreau is still miles better than several other NHL teams unfortunately, purely because of a very solid defense, an elite goalie, and a bunch of defensively responsible forwards. Sutter will make them strangle every other team into submission this year if that’s the best way for this squad to win (which it will be, obviously, because the elite talents are gone).

“Shouldn’t do anything major”

I think losing Gaudreau and Tkachuk within a span of like a week has already caused enough drama and chaos for one offseason

How would you feel if there was a CGY-CBJ cup final and Gaudreau scored the game 7 OT winner against y’all to win the Stanley cup for Columbus

I'm not too sure about them being a playoff team this year. They'd need some Rangers-Devils lottery luck for sure, but I feel like they're closer to realistically win the lottery than a Cup contender without Tkachuk & Gaudreau.

Gonna be interesting how they make up for 200+ lost points from the loss of Tkachuk and Gaudreau

I meant they shouldn't overreact and trade Lindholm, Andersson, etc.

No no. They should package Lindholm and Tkachuk to Columbus 😉

Oh they’re not a cup contender lol. They’re just not a lottery team either. It’s back to the murky middle for the Flames. Good thing the Sens are on the upswing

Even if not that if you look at 2023 FA and with Lucic off the books Flames can target a solid wing or center

was looking forward to the fLames falling apart in the offseason and so far I'm not disappointed and it makes it even better that the Oilers are having a relatively decent offseason

This aged well

If we werent in a flat cap world I would agree

Issue is if Blues want him they got to gut a bit of their roster moving Tarasenko and Kyrou to make the money work as Chucky is owed at least 9mill on his new deal if he goes for the bare min.

Blues were known for their depth and so losing 2 or 3 of these guys and adding Tkachuck could either help or hurt them

Will be watching closely but honestly would not surprise me if hes off to Vegas as somehow they will make it work

Kyrou will get 7 next year so it’s not that big of a difference

Crazy how much influence he has had on trades in his coaching career

Poille used to draft and sign/trade for players he wanted

I’d take that if I were Treliving.
The difference between Kyrou and Tkachuk really isn’t that big imo.
