Both Stetcher and Ritchie are expiring, so it was either Mackey or nothing (as they would leave as UFAs).

Calgary gets the two players with higher trade value, so the Flames win the trade.
With that said, it's a shame that the two Ritchie brothers are not allowed to play with each other.
