Add P.O. Joseph (Pitt), Jakub Zboril (Bos), Mattias Norlinder (Mon), Victor Söderström (Az), Josh Mahura (Ana) and they should just throw names in a hat and redraw to see if any of them can use new surroundings for a re-boot.

Dibs on Soderstrom

Holloway has looked fantastic so far in camp and he was defiantly the best player at the Penticton rookie tournament , like so good that is is just no way that he doesn't start the season in the NHL, he was defiantly the best player at the Penticton rookie tournament and he has easily been the best player in 2 of the 3 preseason games (both games against Jets). The he has played the wrist injury he got at the at the end of his draft +1 year really set back his development. IMO he should be considered a dark horse for the Calder, especially if he gets on 97's or 29's line.

Got a feeling Pitt waives Rudweal and Friedman over POJ

As they can then go

Dumo-Letang
Petterson-Petry
Smith-Rutta
POJ

As for Arizona and Soderstrom I got a feeling he plays over Timmins.

Chyrcun-Mayo
Ghost-Stetcher
Nemeth-Soderstrom
Timmins

Werent both robertson brothers 2nd round picks.....

But as for Robertson becoming his brother could happen heck maybe he will be even better who knows. Sure he wont be as big but hes got the offense and scoring touch to do some damage. Just needs to stay healthy and continue improving his game

As for the holding out stuff who knows. Nobody can predict what a guy will do

Would need to be an immense breakthrough for Nick to get even close to where Jason is right now

If we follow the same development curve Nicks got time. As he doesn't have to do it immediately could become better in 3 years its all about patience, teammates, and development along with staying healthy which Nick has had issues with

Hopefully no more leg injuries pls

Jason Robertson is one of the best wingers in the NHL, a guy you can build a team around. There’s less than a 1% chance Nick gets to even 75% of what Jason is. They’re competent different players.

I think Nick Robertson will be a solid middle 6 winger with an above average PP impact

If we look at Jason's development nobody saw that big of growth in that quick of a time period. Its hard to predict what anyone will become. If Nick stays healthy and continues on his positive trend he could become a winger on par with his brother in a few years. As his brother shot up like a rocket to where even the analytics guys went wait what. Cause he went from okay to incredible in 3 years. No guarantee it also happens to N. Robertson but who knows as the saying goes blood runs deep.

As for nicks projection probs 2nd line LW as hes not made for the bottom 6. Got a feeling its gonna be Robey-JT-WN for the 2nd line either this or next season. Bunts probs holds the first line LW spot until Knies shows up then pushes him to the third line. Cause man if it wasnt for the serious leg injury got a feeling Nick might have teased something big as while 28 points in 28 marlies games is fun if he played the full season the possibilities were endless

Jason Robertson would have been a top 10 pick in 2017 if it weren’t for the skating concerns. Nick Robertson never had a ceiling of being an elite player. Nick will be good, but not a superstar. He’ll probably be a 20-25 G 45-50 pt winger in his prime

As the saying goes we dont know. Nick could go on a development curve like his brother and be a monster in 2-4 years or just be a good depth 20 goal wing. Its up to him, his development, health and a bit of lady luck to see if it will happen but no rush as for now the main concern is for him to stay health and continue on his positive trend

Nick was a 2nd round pick, not 3rd. Everything else about the tweet is fine.

Pretty bummed Gushchin isn’t going to get to Europe - guy deserved to get that experience.

I guess they don’t want to bring him with the false expectation that he’s going to play an NHL game this early; still though felt like a hatty and 6 points in 2 games is worth a trip to Europe at least.

Sandman went full Legend of Zelda on us lul

But hey if continues to improve the extra weight should come in handy when he lays out more big hits. Also will help him with net front defense as it will be harder to push him away

Alex Nylander and Lind would be great pickups.

I’m worried about Fucale getting picked up

@Bobcat205 is Kent Johnson gonna make CBJ? And if he does where is he playing?

Edit: Also, Peeke is gonna be Werenski's partner right?

Alex Nylander is the guy a team looking for a nice little scoring wing should grab and while hes not his bro he can give you 20-30 points a season on the right line

From what I’ve seen I would imagine Johnson is either the 2LW or 3LW on the roster, Gaudreau-Jenner-Laine seems poised to be the first line, Peeke does look to be Z’s partner, probably will be Werenski-Peeke, Gavrikov-Boqvist, Bean-Gudbaranson

I was hoping Johnson would get the 1C job lol. Don’t think he’s gonna be overly successful as a rookie to the point of being viable in fantasy if he’s at 3LW. Looks like Peeke played a little under half the time with Werenski last year, think being there full time would increase his rate stats offensively? I’m considering snagging him for banger stats, but if he could get 20-25 points that’d be cool too.
