Could be the difference between claiming a certain need, or having to trade for that same need.

As for the trade ratings. So far I've never seen this report, but am very curious to see how well/bad I'm doing.

Did you choose not to sign him?
Is that why you're concerned about an offer sheet?

No promises, but I don't have the need or desire to put an offer sheet out for anyone that I can foresee.

You should probably expect it from some GMs however, if it makes sense for their team. (See Weber)

End of this season? Emphatic no.

Not enough time to prepare for immediate expansion. Need time to plan ahead for something like that.
I wouldn't have gone out and traded for three top 4 defenders if I was only going to be able to keep 2.
Same for forwards. I didn't pick these guys up as rentals. I planned and expect to get 2 playoffs out of them.
Not sure I have a goaltender that qualifies either.

I don't even think there should be one in 2019. I mean, i still like the idea of eventually doing a v3 (even if it's not this year), but if this game is still going in 2020 that's when i think we should do it because that's when they're expected to join the league.

I forgot to extend him by the deadline. I realized my mistake quickly, but Nick will not allow me to fix it.

So anyone can offer sheet him. This is potentially devastating.

Why is it a problem? Don't most teams not have the corresponding picks to fulfill an offer sheet anymore as they need their own teams 1st, 2nd , 3rd ect and also couldn't you just match the offer sheet if they gave one that you didn't find satisfactory draft pick compensation?

I don't think I'm going to be much of a player on offer sheets or free agency mostly just looking at trades.

It be tempted to sent an offer, but your point here is point on. You can go above your Salary Cap while in offseason so you could easily match any offer. Not to mention the draft pick part, where there is probably max 10 teams that still have their 1st, 2nd, and 3rd pick left.
