Muzzin I never liked on the right side... on the LD early was okay to me but I never liked the extension we gave him.

I could 100% get in board with Roy and Kaliyev, Duclair I don't see the need.

Leafs should be selling off period, what we have right now is legitimately worse overall and the 1 year deals only spell that Treliving was trying to buy time on how to execute Shannys plan.

Thoughts? If we are going to trade Robertson, I'd like to try and pry one of the Ducks young defensemen away from them. Timmins seems like he's going to get dealt, doesn't seem like a Treliving guy. Regardless, my point is that the Leafs have got more than enough cap space after the Nylander deal</div></div>

I'd rather say sign Forsling at say 4 million aaover Hanifin and make an upgrade else in the lineup.

Sure we can throw 6m at Pesce, Roy, or Demelo but whats the guarantee they will perform better than what Tanev or Walker could do

Moving on from Marner is to ensure roster balance so the next few years don't go like the last few.

Definition of insanity is trying the same thing over and over thinking you will get a different result.


I would like some real input on Marner trade, I have doing it my head for 5 months and I'm stuck due with the direction
