****** 3 - TEAM TRADE "BREAK-Dahn" ******* ~ Pittsburgh - Nashville - Chicago ~

PENS GET :
~ R/LW- F. Forsberg #9 ------------- Forsberg is a fav player of mine & love how he plays a physical & Skilled game. He becomes a Top 5 Wing w/ 87 or 71 at C. {+ He already hates WSH!!!}
~ C/W- C. Sissons #10 -------------- Sissons is a perfect 3C for Pens - 26, locked up @ decent Cap hit, good on PK, great 2-way & face-off guy, + is RH (Which Sully loves)

HAWKS GET :
~ G - M. Murray #30 --------------- A 25-26yr old 2- Time Cup winner + Hawks need a Top Goalie w/ UFA Crawford at 35.
~ RW/C- N. Bjugstad #27 ----------- Juggs had core surgery but is a Top 6 RW or #2-#3 C & playing for a contract (Motivated). Played great at 3C for Pens at end of last yr but had {bad luck} shooting %.
~ 2021 - 2nd Round Pick [PIT] --- *CONDITIONAL PICK* - (Depending on Bjugstad gm's played)

PREDS GET :
~ L/RW- B. Saad #20 ---------------- Saad is one of the most under rated wingers in NHL, Does everything very great. * Brings a Cup winner to a team that has been snake bit.
~ RW- A. Nylander #92 ----------- Nylander is only 22 still & in 1st full season. Ultra high skill (when he figures it out) - Could be a steal.
~ LHD- J. Riikola #50 [RFA] ------- Riikola is #5-#7 D-man who never got a fair chance w/ Pens. + his Lytics are great.

Im a big Sissons as 3rd C guy... he is a very good C & takes almost all important face-offs for Preds but isnt listed as C?? bc of all the other C's they have.

Pens wins that 3-way trade by a landslide.

Also those signings are way too much in their favor.

I respect the effort you've put to this, but it's too much of wishful thinking. No realism put here.

Sissons is a center, but also plays wing. NSH also has Johansen, Duchene, Turris, Bonino & Jarnkrok down the middle as well.

That being said, NSH rejects the proposal. Preds are getting shafted harder here than they were by the officiating in the 2017 Cup finals.

Coming from a Rangers fan, I like it. You definitely might need to add something for Nashville to pull the trigger on that trade, but I really appreciate the breakdowns and explanations. This clearly shows that this has been thought out and the team would be pretty filthy (only downside as a Rangers fan of course). Great job! applaud

Don’t even go there lol. After that blown whistle EVERY call went to the preds advantage as NHL officials love to “even out” officiating after a bad call

These trades all heavily favor the penguins, and overall is far too optimistic.

Where some of the ideas are good, the players you are sending are valued too high vs the return you are getting. The UFA contracts for Parise, Schultz, Fleury and Jarry are all at least a million underpaid. Fleury is the only one on that list I could see taking that large of a discount to play here.

Exactly this. I respect the massive amount of time placed into making this thread, but really all of these words seem to go as a debate to convince the other teams why the penguins players should be worth twice their value. It's too optimistic to be realistic.

Given Nashville's injuries and how badly Laviolette was out-coached, the Pens probably would have won anyway. But with Sissons getting robbed of two important goals (games 1&6), Crosby getting away with ramming Pk's head into the ice, throwing a water bottle on the ice (should be an automatic penalty, regardless of intent), etc. it was like watching the Montreal Screwjob all over again.

I actually agree with u about Pens winning all trades & signings but I dont think Im too far off on most of trades bc Saad was traded for Breadman, so u never really kno?

- My signings of Flower , Parise, & Schultzy were all just wishes tho, lol

How can u say the Preds got shafted in Cup Finals??

The only call the Pens didn't get was how - Crosby cleary double dribbled Subbans head behind the net & got away with 1 there, lol

Which trade? I think the trades are close but the signings of Parise, Flower, & Schultz are all a wish.

NSH / CHI Trade - A 25 yr old, 2-time Cup winning Starting Goalie mite have some good value? No?
- Just bc Bjugstad was hurt, doesnt mean he isnt a good player still?
Saad did get traded for Breadman too, so not far fetched?

ARZ Trade - I prob lost that trading the best Defensive Forward in NHL but I am a fan of Hill

ANA trade - Ducks get the better players (rite now) & Pens take risk on 2 young players (that I really like) but will they play or become starters ??
Jones & Mahura both 22-23 yrs old & 1st & 3rd rdrs BUT both have been sent back to AHL this yr & still cant hold down spots on a bad team ... So u never kno?

MTL Trade - a RFA with concussion problems for a cheap Back up Goalie??

True but Saad had more term and had a great season before that and also CHI weren't sure about whether they could afford Panarin or not.

It really is funny when ppl cry about when Sid dribbled Subbans head & him throwing a water bottle
WHEN
Sid has taken more abuse than any other player in NHL in last 15yrs

Which trade? I think the trades are close but the signings of Parise, Flower, & Schultz are all a wish.

NSH / CHI Trade - A 25 yr old, 2-time Cup winning Starting Goalie mite have some good value? No?
- Just bc Bjugstad was hurt, doesnt mean he isnt a good player still?
Saad did get traded for Breadman too, so not far fetched?

It's not nearly as close as you think. You've got NSH giving up their most skilled forward and a solid does a bit of everything forward they've made a long term commitment to, for one year of a winger who's not as good as Forsberg, two years older, and comes with the same cap hit. Plus a prospect who's already washed out of one organization, and has a high probability of busting, & a fringe bottom pair D.

It really is funny when ppl cry about when Sid dribbled Subbans head & him throwing a water bottle
WHEN
Sid has taken more abuse than any other player in NHL in last 15yrs

It really is funny when ppl cry about Crosby being able to get away with anything he wants because he takes abuse just like every star player in every sport. Crysby has dished out more cheap shots than he's taken, and gotten away with it his whole career. The guy can spear someone in the groin, or hack a player's finger off, but the only discipline he's ever faced is when he skipped an All Star game.
