As for this game, is it just me or are the refs calling EVERY. DARN. THING. Never seen so many bad penalty calls in a 2 and a half games in my life.....but that Toffoli though, am I right? Holy smokes.

Its ridiculous. They're calling so many weak calls. Like I get it, we want things to be called but this makes no sense. I mean its great are scoring on the OK so at least there's that!

It seems like the penalties are wack league-wide. So at least it isn’t just a Montreal problem.

Fun fact Edmundson is +2 tonight. Cant find an updated chart but he might be top 2 in the +/- behind Shea Theodore.

Of course Im going to annoy advanced stats nerds with this.

Honestly, Habs need to crack down on defense. As nice as the goals are, this team hasn't been defending very well. Goalies need to be better too.

It's still a small sample size, but Weber might need his ice time reduced at 5v5. He's obviously still an elite special teams guy, but 5v5 doesn't look the same, or maybe it's just Chiarot having a rough start that makes him look bad
