I’d just like to point out Peter Chiarelli traded a 13OA pick (Barzal) and a 2nd round pick for a player who just flat out couldn’t play.

Yes, Edmonton could’ve had McDavid, Draisaitl, Barzal, and RNH as centres by 2017.

As a Vegas fan

Kelly McCrimmon and the ENTIRE Vegas organization (outside of the coaching staff) deserve to be fired out of a cannon, this is absolutely pathetic, all for Reilly Smith and Brett Howden

I hope to lord this team misses the playoffs. I can’t ask for anything more, just please miss, it’ll be the best thing for the future of this team if they want to STAY in Vegas

They could be considered more of a trainwreck then the Washington Commanders right now, I hope this gamblers mentality of “this time THIS TIME IT’LL WORK” is banished to never be seen again

With what money lul they would have to give away their entire team to sign him and the problem is all those NTC and NMC will prevent that

This is a consequence of the Eichel acquisition last season.

Vegas didn't give Pacioretty away for nothing. They gave him way for cap space. The need for cap space was because they acquired Jack Eichel last off season. Would people look at this trade as negatively if Pacioretty was one of the pieces that went to Buffalo in the Eichel trade?

They have about 6 million in cap to work with right now. Trading Pacioretty either means that Stone will return before the playoffs, and they will need cap space to activate him in season, or it means they are working on another major acquisition. Maybe Patrick Kane. Chicago could trade him with half his salary retained and since his bonus is paid, it would only cost them 1.45M in real dollars to retain 5.25M.

Who are the 3 guys that voted for VGK? I’d love to hear your justification. They traded their best offensive Winger, who happens to be a pending UFA, for NOTHING! Haha. Why didn’t every team in the league call about him? He’ll probably be worth a mid-late 1st at the TDL!!!!!

Last offseason they trade Fleury (Vezina winner) for almost nothing. Now they trade a 30 goal scorer for basically nothing.... good job Vegas.

Hurricanes makes a gamble and Vegas folded ?

This trade is all about how much age and injury has Pacioretty taken ? He's damaged goods ? When was the last time Pacioretty played healthy ? Carolina got a great player but he's been recovering from a few years of serious injury ?

IS HE READY TO PLAY OR IS HE THE FIRST MEDICAL ?

Fleischmann and Weise for Danault and a 2nd

The 2nd became Romanov.

Romanov became Dach

Fleischmann scored 5 pts in 19 games for the Hawks. Dale Weise scored 1 point in 15 games. Both left Hawks for nothing in that same offseason.

Seth Jones trade isnt even Stan Bowman's worst deal

Yikes yup haha I definitely forgot about that one. I remember that trade. Looked pretty bad once it happened as Fleischman was on the downlow of his career and Weise wasn’t much either
