Honestly I wonder about Adam Henrique





If Anaheim retains I could see Dubas trading for him then making another trade with either Chicago or Arizona

but here's a fun fact:

Leo Komarov signs 4 year deal on July 1, 2018:

2018-19: Islanders go 48-27-7, sweep Pens before losing to Canes in second round.
2019-20: Islanders go 35-23-10, beat the Panthers, Capitals, & Flyers before losing in 6 to eventual Cup winners Tampa
2020-21: Islanders go 32-17-7, beat the Penguins & Bruins before losing in 7 to eventual Cup winners Tampa

November 14, 2021: The 5-4-2 New York Islanders terminate Leo Komarov's contract.

From 11/14/21 through the end of the season: The Islanders go 32-31-8 and miss the playoffs by 16 points.

2022-23: The Islanders, despite trading away their 1st round pick for the 4th year in a row, are stuck on the outside of the playoffs looking in and still searching for that top line winger to pair with Mat Barzal (and now Bo Horvat). I wonder, who was skating with Mat the years the team made back-to-back Eastern Conference Finals???

No, why?

He was hurt on that play. Tried to go, couldn't. NJD then decided to put him on shelf for a few weeks.

And I don't think Tkachuk did much of anything there...was just a fluky thing. Just hate to see at All Star game.
