I have a theory that I think a team was maybe going to try and acquire him as an LTIR stash for playoffs, but the memo the league sent out the other day ruined that chance

If Avs get Nick schmaltz they’ll make it to the SCF. He’s a huge upgrade to what they have now. I think they’ll win 1 round without an add at 2c

In general JT Compher has been a nice fill in 2c there isnt a huge need to go get as if Landeskog's back for playoffs things gonna get spicy. Heck Newhooks taken a nice step

Avs are a team u cant look down upon as they will make yah pay as playoff MacKinnon is scary

Very little of Kesselring's production was at even strength. His shooting percentage was unsustainable. At best he becomes a taller Brad Hunt.

I dont think it's an organizational position Edmonton should have been trading from but an NCAA or CHL signing or two backfill that hole nicely.

Kind of surprised we have heard nothing on Labanc as I feel he would be one of those sneaky good TDL adds especially if SJS retain half his deal.

I'd have to dig up the splits from a post somewhere on Lowtide's blog but most of his assists were. He's been on a heater and was a pretty decent sell high piece.

Either way, I think this signals that the organization is higher on Kemp (and they should be). Until we know of Wanner is going to remain a prospect I'd expect the Oilers to make a RHD free agent signing this spring/summer.

Luke Schenn gives me mixed emotions

I remember him in Toronto (Did a bit of everything)

I remember the trade he was almost a part of (FU BURKE) --> (Basically Toronto would have got Hedman)

But in the end he got us JVR who was fun not Hedman but fun (40 goals one season)

Now lets see what hes got. Also imagine if Dubas trades for JVR lul

Next to Holl was the only guy who responded with a nice hit. Really sucks when we dont try lul

And in the playoffs beat the crap out of a guy and had 3 goals and assists in 7 games

Hes not 100% rn but what we learned

Never have Holl with him lul

Every other Dman with him good. Holl just never mesh's with him.
