Fair deal, Minny gets cap space ( which we know is expensive, re: Monahan, Bjorkstrand trades and co ) and Anaheim gets a solid D to help their awful defence

I don't want to be the NHL executive who has to keep track of every future consideration

Most of the time it is nothing or a dollar.

It was just to laugh at all those trades about future considerations that were made this offseason

I wonder how many of the future considerations deals will be a player as the consideration.

In April of last year, the New Jersey Devils traded Kulikov for a 4th round pick that could have easily turned into a 3rd round pick.

Today, the Minnesota Wild gave him away for free.

Anaheim wins the trade.

Gives the Ducks a great match to pair with Drysdale to help him out defensively. Good deal for both teams

Fowler-Klingberg
Kuli-Drysdale
Vaak-Shattenkirk

Only downside is that this takes the Ducks further away from a potential McTavish-Bedard pairing

Well Ducks still have a chance as if Gibson struggles again or suffers another injury setback they still can potentially get Bedard only teams with a slight higher chance rn are Chicago and Arizona

No risk for Anaheim and they get to flip him at the deadline for a 4th. Interesting to see what Minnesota does with that extra cap space

Wait a second, Minn had to leave space for Parise and Suter, that's 12.743588 off of 82.5 and they still have 5.738 mill in Cap Space.... Who is Mr Guerin chasing with 5.7 mil in Cap Space?

The Ducks got a good D-man on a good contract for nothing. How can you vote anything but Ducks.

And don't say, "Cap space is expensive." This isn't a cap dump by Minnesota, because Dmitry Kulikov wasn't overpaid.

I can only guess he ended up not being a fit in the MIN system for whatever reason it was better to get rid of him than keep him.

i wonder if they're going after someone with the cap space they have.

would be funny if they sign rodrigues to a 5 mill deal for like eight years
