What do you think? I hope the cap will be constant or a lot of teams will have a lot of probs. This post just assumes a lower cap and 2 CBOs--a very unlikely scenario.

CBO and cap issues aside (both of which I think don't happen but what-ifs are fun) I think the Ducks trade looks like a trade they might say yes to, Hallander is a good prospect and a 1st rounder, along with Bjugstad, who wouldnt be a cap dump on their team. I think there is just no way the Hurricanes trade Necas though, maybe if you made it someone like Bean or if you wanted a center back Rees probably fits there too, but I think Necas and Suzuki are gonna be off the table for them

I wouldn't consider this offer as GM of either SoCal team.

Anaheim shouldn't be trading Rakell without getting either (1) immediate help at RD, or (2) a 2020 draft pick.

Los Angeles shouldn't be trading Roy at all because he's one of only three NHL-qualified RD's on the roster.

They better not, Rakell could get a much better return than this

Just did a little research and I dont think the Canes would do it. I think They would rather stick it out with the current goalies

I'm Ok with bean, he had a good season in the AHL.
PIT could use a #3C for sure.

Easy no from Carolina. Carolina need scoring more than they need a goalie. No way they trade Necas

It is a dream to have 2 cap buy outs, lol

BUT - I do LOVE Necas & Rakell... so Im down but Necas will be a great RWer, not Center.

The Rakell trade seems fair, a lot to give up for a guy w/ 2 - avg seasons now tho... bc if Juggs is healthy he could have same production but as Center?

you are going to get so screwed in the expansion draft, don't even have a 1st to trade to save you.
